Meet Claire
Claire Cummins Lorenz is the author of Hit by a Truck: A Roadmap to Saving Money and Powering Through Divorce. A native Texan, graduate of the University of Virginia, and longtime French teacher in Houston, she has spent more than twenty years helping others learn, grow, and overcome challenges.
After experiencing divorce herself, Claire wrote Hit by a Truck to offer the practical guidance, encouragement, and real-life stories she wished she’d had. Her goal is simple: to help readers feel more informed, organized, and confident as they move forward.
